Beware the intricacies of Medicare

As I've been finding out lately with all of the medical issues my mom has been having all Medicare options are not the same. They really push Medicare Advantage which might be an advantage for some but if you start needing skilled nursing care you might be in for a rough ride.

So for anyone with family members who may be going on Medicare, or people currently on an Advantage plan, please do some real hard thinking about what your needs may be in the future and think about possibly switching to original Medicare. For most people enrollment ends on 12/7. There are quite a few special enrollment periods for switching between plans as well.
