Heya I'm Jason. Just some quick bits about me:

• Born and still live in Chicagoland (somehow have the classic Chicago accent yet didn't grow up in the city).
• Husband
• Dad to two wonderful kids.
• Sports fan
  • Love the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears
  • Love professional cycling (think Tour de France)
  • Indycar auto racing
• Total audio tools and synth nerd. I've spent way too much money on this stuff!
• Hate exercise. Hate dieting. Need to get better at both.

I have two other sites currently on the Internet:

• My micro posts blog over at micro.blog
  
  Moving any social media-style micro posts over to micro.blog which is better equipped than Ghost (the software I'm using for this site) for micro posting. I also want to support Manton's ideas of how independent blogging should operate.
• My HEY World blog
  
  I love the immediacy of posting to HEY World. Since it's integrated with my email provider of choice and uses the same editor writing there is essentially friction-free. I will eventually post that stuff here as well.

Oh and why the name "Cordial Moon" for this blog? 🤷‍♂️ When I created an account for the Vivaldi browser it was an auto-generated name I liked. With recent interest in that browser with the many updates they've made, including built-in Proton VPN support (my VPN service of choice), I figured why not rename the blog with the same name and add a nice image on the home page?
