Elie Mystal, writing in The Nation about Ezra Klein’s terrible piece on Charlie Kirk in the NYT, keeps saying “white” as if that means anything in a terrible opinion piece. Bad takes are bad takes dude, it doesn’t matter what the race is of the person they’re coming from. (and oddly he points out Joan Walsh’s piece. Last time I checked she’s white. So a person’s race only matters when the takes are bad?)
I’d also remind Elie that there is such writing in the NYT as well, The Nation isn’t alone in people being able to hold 2 things in mind at once about Charlie Kirk.
