Last Week

Last week...really had what felt like some personal revelations that have been a long time coming and had a day Saturday on which I have not felt so relaxed in a long time. Staying completely away from the Internet (well, not completely. I did use it for research) and all of the nonsense in the news, and replacing it with reading, old movies, finally doing some music learning, and most importantly a lot of rest was what I needed. Never even left the house. I haven't read that much in years. Once I made up my mind that I wasn't going to look at my phone every two seconds concentrating on the reading wasn't difficult at all which, to be frank, was shocking. Most definitely unexpected.

The world is going to do what it's going to do whether I get upset or not. This weekend I chose to ignore it and claw back a bit of sanity. Highly recommended.
