I like routine. Generally these are all prep tasks to get my day started off on the right foot. It helps keep a good level of sanity in my day and if I get off of some of the routines I've started it can mean a bad day (from a mental health perspective). I also have a few that I'd prefer to do in the evening.
I've got a reminder in my todo list to journal every day in a project called "Evening Routine". The problem is I don't often feel like journaling then. Sometimes I get the urge to write in the morning, like today. So I'm going to switch things up a bit and just have a todo that I can do any time of the day. The task is more important than the time it gets done. As it stands right now I'm hardly journaling because the time is wrong. Going to fix that starting today.
