We're now in standard time so the clocks have fallen back an hour making it dark before 5pm. I'll be glad when the light starts to slowly return in December. This is all a blunt reminder of the death of the year now past, leaves falling, winds blowing, temps dropping and light fading. Pretty soon we'll be back on the upswing, even if it feels like an eternity until May. At that point I'll be complaining about my allergies and the heat coming on too fast but I certainly won't be complaining about the the light we are blessed with during the summers when our days can extend far into the evening hours. Until them I'm going to try to make the best of it with some reflection on where I've been and where I want to go. So many things still left to do and so many more on the horizon.
